scarcity of fresh water. There is always plenty drinking and swimming. An early season real cruise in the Kimberley should have massive waterfalls like those (left) at the King George River in March. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case later in the year. The King George Falls were nearly dry in the late wet season in April 2003 (right) and many of the other rivers ran at a trickle after a very dry wet.
